What is BassoonLAB?
BassoonLAB aims to be an innovative bassoon academy, based on the flexibility to choose your own frequency.
Whether you are interested in monthly sessions or just looking for a single visit, each individual lesson will be based on your specific goals and needs.
Take full profit of BassoonLAB by actively participating in workshops and seminars, which will be based on various topics such as reedmaking, audition training, warm-up techniques, and more.
What does BassoonLAB offer?
BassoonLAB's educational program is structured in encounters, much like a series of full-immersion masterclasses.
Every encounter lasts two days and includes:
Two individual lessons
One lesson per day
Min. guaranteed total of 2h per encounter
Workshop or Seminar
One workshop/seminar per encounter
New topics each month
Free listening
All BassoonLAB activities are open to all students
How much does BassoonLAB cost?

No time for a two-days encounter?
You can opt for a single lesson with all the benefits of BassoonLAB for 130€.
The prices above include the Administration Fee of 50€, which will have to be paid in advance upon confirmation of your participation and is non refundable.
All lessons, workshops and seminars are open to BassoonLAB members. Visitors may be admitted upon authorization.
What are workshops and seminars about?
Each encounter will feature a workshop or seminar of the month. All workshop and seminars are included in the frequency fee.
Workshops will be about practical topics:
Reed making
Audition training
Warm-up and technique
Seminars will be about academic topics:
How to win stage fright
Close-up on specific repertoire
Topics are subject to change according to students' wishes. Workshops will have a minimum duration of two hours and can be split into two parts on consecutive days of the same encounter. Seminars will have a minimum duration of one hour.
